Intermediate Piano Lessons in Atlanta

Piano and lyrics book, focus on notes.jpg

Did you take piano lessons when you were younger, and for one reason or another gave it up? Or, perhaps you feel as if you have outgrown your current instructor. Regardless of the situation, if you are no longer a beginner, continuing lessons are for you. Every player, regardless of skill level, can benefit from piano lessons. In fact, though I have been playing piano for many decades now, I still receive lessons from a private instructor. Even the greatest players in the world still receive instruction!

If you did give up piano for a while and are ready to pick it back up again, I can help. Together, we will go through a quick refresher of the basics so you can learn to play more advanced music and utilize more advanced techniques. Every pianist is unique in their skill level and learning style. As such, no two lessons are the same. I will ensure you are receiving lessons that match your abilities so you can learn what you want to learn, and at a pace that is best for you.

Lesson Plans

As you continue your piano education, you likely have many other obligations in your schedule. I will work to create a lesson plan that best fits your needs. Typically, I recommend one-hour long lessons, four times a month, at the price of $240 per month.* I also encourage each of my students to participate in recitals, as recitals are a great way to demonstrate what you have learned. However, participation is not required.

In addition, I also utilize workshop lessons, in which a guest artist or instructor teaches a session.
